This is a great tool which I didn't have time to show you on Tuesday.
It's over 5 years old and I look much younger.   I need to update it because the Lake School sign has changed!  Please feel free to add an comments you want to.

I sound a bit like a robot but this should illustrate how we speed up and slow down as we speak and keep the timing the same.

What is Blended Learning

Here is a definition from the Macmillan Students' dictionary:

Blended learning definition

Using GOOD web tools will have many positive affects on your students.

They hopefully will:

  • take part
  • feel involved and part of a team
  • be able to show off their creativity
  • create beautiful pieces of work
  • have fun
  • learn independent study skills
  • enjoy studying and improving their English!
As teachers we owe it to our students to tell them how useful the Internet is for improving their English and how many of the best sites are FREE.

Everything I will share with you this morning is TOTALLY FREE.

Links which are not on the list

Every day, every minute the Internet changes.  I have gone through most of the sites on my list and here are links to sites which are new.

Eltchat.org shows us how twitter can be put to great use!
Here is a summary from June 5th 2013 chat.

Sites to share with each other.

Hi everyone.
Creating this has taken 5 minutes in my break.  (Honestly, blogging is not rocket science!)
I have shown a few good websites to my Secondary teachers already.  Please can you share these sites with the other teachers and explain how they work.
